One of Calgary's best kept secrets!  The Grain Academy and museum is an interactive celebration of the grain industry in Western Canada.  The Academy first opened its doors over 20 years ago.  More than 30,000 guests tour the Academy annually including up to 5,000 school children, 6,000 domestic and international visitors, and nearly 20,000 Stampede guests each summer.

The Grain Academy Museum is fortunate to be located in Stampede Park, home of the world-renowned Calgary Stampede.  It is an interpretive centre and proud ambassador for the grain industry in Western Canada, with hundreds of artifacts woven into ten hands-on experimental exhibit areas that make up the story of the grain industry.  The "story tellers", our curators, have many many years of grain production and industry experience.

Guests of the Grain Academy Museum are invited to embrace the evolution of the grain trade through working models, historic photos, artifacts, videos and more.  The quality of the presentation is first class - in keeping with the highest standards set by the Calgary Stampede in all its initiatives and partnerships.  Each year more than 30,000 people tour the facilities that occupy nearly 500 square metres in the Roundup Centre.
