Explore the evolution of farming and Canada's grain handling industry!
Story tellers ...
Our curators are "story tellers" who bring the story behind the evolution of the grain industry and the experience of early pioneers to life. They will take you back in time through working models, historic photos, artifacts, videos and more. The quality of the presentation is first class - in keeping with the highest standards set by the Calgary Stampede in all its initiatives and partnerships.
Our Displays ...
Guests can watch a video depicting how the prairies were settled, watch a working grain elevator demonstration and view the world's largest model train display showing the movement of grain from the prairie to the terminals at Vancouver.
Other displays include everything from barbed wire types to wheat straw weaving, pioneer farm tools and various models of farm implements.
